The mission of the Academy Preschool and Kindergarten of Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church is to provide a loving, nurturing, educational environment, which exposes children to the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ; to provide them with a foundation of academic, artistic, physical and social challenges that will prepare them for success in school. We seek to partner with parents in encouraging the well-rounded growth of children to think, speak and act Biblically, in communicating their incredible worth in God’s eyes as part of His precious creation.

We are incredibly grateful for The Academy and the safe, loving, and special environment they have created for our children. As their very first experience in a school setting, we truly couldn’t have imagined a more ideal place for them to begin.
Our children have grown and excelled in so many ways because of the genuine dedication their teachers and staff pour into their classrooms and into each child. There is something so reassuring as a parent about knowing your children are not only safe and cared for, but truly known, encouraged, and loved.
Our kids eagerly look forward to going to school each day—whether it’s to learn something new, learn about Jesus, see their teachers, or spend time with the genuine friendships they’ve formed along the way. Watching them become more confident, independent, and excited to learn has meant so much to us.
A place like The Academy becomes more than just a preschool. It becomes part of your child’s story—the teachers, friendships, lessons, and experiences that shape their early childhood and become memories they carry with them forever.
